TAX

A 'TAX'  IS A FINE FOR THE WORK DONE 'CORRECTLY/RIGHTLY' AS PER LAW.

AND A 'FINE' IS A TAX FOR DOING THE 'WRONG OR AGAINST' AS PER LAW.

O' JAANE WALE.........

SUSHI  no more – unbelievable!

Sushi who entered into Blog world recently and within a short period she captured too many friends and wrote beautiful blogs, poems, songs along with pictures. She was very very friendly with all her friends as the messages posted on her guestbook and posted by her upon our guestbooks.  Perhaps CHUP CHUPKE was written aiming her departure from the world.

In her last poem/article WO LAMHE posted today was with a clear hint but we could not guess exactly what is stored for her and for us.

Really a very great LOSS for all of us.

May her soul rest in peace.

All that I can repeat a song of Mukesh:

O’ Jane wale ho sake to laut ke AANA.

ZULFEIN HAI YA?

Followings two are the actual experience of today:

  1. After breakfast I forwarded to my friend’s house for a casual meeting. His house is on first floor and balcony faces road. On reaching there I saw at his balcony and sprang from the road level:  Behanji if my friend is available? Prompt came the reply and I was astonished my friend Sardarji himself replied: Yes Bajaj Jee welcome please reach at first floor. Actually my friend was resting in balcony in a chair with his back facing the road enabling the hairs to dry after Sunday washing. Ah Kya Teri Zulfein Hai ?

  2. In the evening I visited nearby Gurudwara and on reaching there I noticed two were on their knees and head (covered with a handkerchief) bowing before Holy Granth Sahib. I waited for my turn till they finish. And when they finished and turned face toward me and I sparked,  Vow Wonderful!. The two girls equipped! Yes, uncle we both are without JADU KA JAAL and exactly boy cut and dressed to look like boy.

The subject topic has been dealt so romantically in too many films, here are some of them:-

  1. Film Tumsa Nahin Dekha: Mohd. Rafi sang for Shammi Kapoor:  Zulfein hai ya Badlian. Aankhe hai ya bijlian…….

  2. Film Mamta starring Dharmender, Suchitra Sen, Ashok Kumar: Rafi: Inn Baharoon mein akele na pheero rah mein kali ghata rok na le.   Lata: Iss kaali ghata se mujhe kiya; ye to khud hai meri ZULFO ke tale.

  3. Film DO DIL starring Vishawajeet, Rajshree, Mahmood, Mumtaz, Pran:  Rafi sings for Vishwajeet:  Balon mein hai sawan ki ghata galo mein hai poonam ki ghata.

  4. Film Insaan: Mumtaz, Dharmender, Saira Banu:    Ye hai reshmi zulfon ka andhera na ghabraiye zahan tak mehak hai chale aaiye.

  5. Ek Musafir Ek Hasina: Joy Mukerjee and Sadhna:  Mein pyar ka raahi hoon, kuchh der teri zulfon ke saaya mein thaher jaun?  Tum ek musafir hoon kab chhod ke chal doge yeh sauch ke mein ghabrau……

  6. In Chaudwi ka Chand: Rafi sings for Guru Dutt: Zulfein hai ki kandhe pe BADAL jhuke huay…….

  7. Etc. etc. etc. etc. etc. too many

Now anyone can let me know after all why the modern girls, though very few,  prefers to go for complete boy cut. And afterall  what is ZULFEIN? Jadu ka jaal, kali ghata, badlian, ya tree full of shadow?.

WIDE RANGED COMPARISON

The following three topics would make it a WIDE RANGED COMPARISON.

  1. Commercialisation and financial rewards consequent upon T20 Cup,
  2. Two Major of our Army sacrificed their life in Jammu and Kashmir recently and
  3. Suicides by farmers across India throughout the year.

What a great reward for hitting six sixer. Rs. One Crore in India still a huge amount. Again reward is huge as compared to performance.  Reward for only five or six minutes best play. Only the game lovers are involved in it. No sacrifice by Yuvraj or his family members.

Two Majors sacrificed their lives for the cause of India i e bravery act. Whole of the India is proud of our Army and all Indians are concerned for a strong Army. One Major was due to become father shortly may be this Deewali and the other Major was to get married at the end Of Oct.

Would the families of these two Majors will be rewarded beyond Rs. One Crore in a one go. Perhaps No and Never. On this Deewali the families, relatives and friends of both these Majors may satisfy themselves with the song of old film NAZRANA starring Raj Kapoor and Vyjantimala and sung by Mukesh.

Ik who bhi deewali thee eek ye bhi deewali hai,

Ujra hua gulshan rota hua mali hai.

Bahar to ujala hai magar man mein andhera,

Samjho na ise din ye hai gam ka savera,

Kya deep jalae taqdeer hi kaali hai,

Ujra hua gulshan rota hua mali hai.

FARMERS that is KISSAN who serves food to entire country by putting in hard work supported by whole family not for year but for whole life. All dream of a healthy food but never care for a weak farmer. Too many companies have endorsed their products as Kissan like Sauce, Bidi, Engines, Pumps etc. etc. Too many schemes and financial availabilities announced since Independence in 1947. Each and Every Netaji of India have declared themselves as FARMERS though he/she might have not seen any field or worked as a farmer. Neta Log grabbing the prosperous land declaring as FARMERS.  In between all these YOJNAS too many FARMERS have committed suicide due to poverty or losses in floods or any natural calamity. Manoj Kumar won prizes and earn money by producing farmers based film UPKAR but the FARMERS the son of soil the non seperatable man of Indian Economy is killing themselves.  Perhaps SUICIDE is the reward of hard working and that too for the nation.

ROAD RAGE IN DELHI

Dear friends,

It is very very sad to read a news that seven has been killed by Blue Lines as well as injured too many. Blue Line Buses as well as Mrs. Shiela Dixit alongwith her loyal-cum-royal ministers must go off the Delhi scene. Enough is Enough. Commuting by Blue Line Buses is almost now a crime as you will be punished either death penalty or fracture penalty or rape penalty or rough treatment penalty.

On 19th Sept. I posted a Blog entitled ROAD SENSE IN DELHI, which is again copied here for ready reference. Please take care of remedies/suggestions at the end of Blog.

Let us all feel for those killed.

ROAD SENSE IN DELHI

For the last few months Delhi has witnessed too many killings, rape, beating on road.

Now let me share my observations about all road users and concerned:

BLUE LINE BUSES

Yes! Blue Line Buses are the main culprit of bad road sense in Delhi. . And to set these Buses in order Delhi HC passed too many measures like speed governor, speed limit, dress for drivers and conductors, one conductor for each bus, not beating the bus wall to fetch more passengers, no music, no smoking, no overstaying, no overtaking without proper reason, well behaviour etc. etc.  But the situation remains marginally improved. Killing goes on and goes on. Rules and regulations are not worried over as punishment is considered very far away or easy to accept.

DTC BUSES:

Bus Box is totally invisible to all but mid lane is their favourite to let the passengers to get out of the bus as well as to get in who can rush. Smoking is common. To skip the Bus stop with one or two waiting passengers is also their rule. DTC Buses have also killed citizens.

HEAVY VEHICLES:

Some heavy vehicles also a problem at night hours as they run too fast (above 40 km) and overtake frequently to enter into a race with other vehicles. Occupying of all lanes during night hours is their basic right.

LIGHT VEHICLES:

Speed limit of 50 Km is a meaningless rule for most drivers. To create a noise pollution, specially at lights turning green, is their basic and fundamental right. Dispute over parking has  also resulted into death. During night hours all traffic lights are green for them. To mix drinks and driving is also a story of every night. After dinner walk on inner roads Music at high volume is available. To rape a helpless woman - Moving Car is the best place and best timings are night and wee hours.

 AUTO RICKSHAWS:

Bus Box is their parking slot to attract passengers. Hike in the rates (Rs. 4.50 per km) as per the expectation is still insufficient as no one like to miss the opportunity to pick the pockets by  demanding extra from needy and strangers. Refusal to go at some pretext or other (CNG insufficient, have to go different direction for school children etc. etc.) is still common.  They never carry coins as it is passengers worry.

BIKES/MOTORCYCLES:

Speed limit for heavy vehicles is 40 Km and for cars at 50 Km but for Bikes unlimited.

Stop line and red light invisible to almost all. To learn or practice Circus Skills on Delhi roads is the habit of some bike owners. Overtaking also is done in a risky way. As per the news Bikers have taken courage to beat or kill the car drivers on roads in presence of public.

PEDESTRIAN & CYCLIST:

The way of using roads, especially while crossing the roads, is a proof that Penalty/Fine etc. cannot be imposed on them. They cross the roads by taking their life at risk as well as  putting the drivers  at great risk and responsibility to save their life. More than two would walk across the road but not in a line. Parents/guardian will walk on the road by holding the walking kids with their right hand instead of putting kids on their left.  They have tuned  their ears not to attend Horn.

MOBILE PHONES:

No one like to miss a call while driving. All know that use of mobile while driving is banned and punishable but still the practice is on.

HOARDINGS:

Different hoardings have different level of attraction and  halts flow of traffice.

TRAFFIC POLICE:

Seems over occupied or short of staff. You will be penalized on crossing the yellow light but no penalty for DTC and Govt. Vehicles who has crossed red light behind you. The figures of the challans issued daily speaks WELLDONE.

PUBLIC/PASSENGERS:

Though passengers make complaint over overstaying of buses, noise and ill manners of conductor and driver still they do not take courage to report/complaint to the Complaint Cell. Pickpockets happens in presence of Public. Too many daytime beating and killing also have reported in News. Public also responsible on their part.

SUBWAYS/OVERBRIDGES:

Too many subways and overbridges are neither passenger friendly nor patient friendly.

Even subway at Safdarjung Hospital (Ring Road) is not patient friendly. Its location should have been on the otherside of Bus Stop and should also have the exit and entrance from within the Hospital.

COURTS:

Courts have done their duties by enacting the ACTS/RULES/GUIDELINES etc. Daily too many are fined in courts for violations. What else can be done by courts?

REMEDIES/SOLUTIONS/SUGGESTIONS:

a)      All must obey the traffic rules and respect other road users.

b)      Blue Line Buses must stand themselves disciplined otherwise public agony will be injurious to all. Govt. has already planned to phase out.

c)      Exisiting subways and overbridges be changed/renovated to be comfortable for old and handicapped citizens also. More new subways and/or overbridges are needed.

d)      Traffic Police should not treat Govt. Vehicles differently and above traffic rules.

e)      In case the Delhi Police feels under staff or over burdened, will consider to appoint area wise freelancers for supervision and reporting of traffic disobeyance.

SAME FATE?

India won ODI world cup in 1983 by beating then world champion West Indies under captaincy of Kapil Dev. Too much rejoice and celebrations were here and there throughout India.

Immediate after  1983 world cup, West Indies toured India for Test and Five ODI matches.  West Indies took a beautiful revenge by beating India in all five ODIs. Kapil and his men were totally at lost. Perhaps India was looser for Test series also.

Now we have recently won T20 cup and Australian are here currently for seven ODI.  BARKHA RANI helped India in first ODI. Second and third ODI Australia won with a good marginS. Indian thought that BARKHA RANI is playing on their side. Needless to remind here that India beat Australia in semis of T20 cup.

Seems we are destined to meet the SAME FATE at the hands of Australia also.
