Made in India for India. The trophy India won on 24th Sept. in South Africa on defeating in a closely fought match was made in Jaipur.
Very very interesting and tightly played, full of suspense, full of action. Ultimately luck favoured India and trophy came back in India.
With this one following facts/points have emerged:
A) Cricket in India now a big industry and commercialization is always scaling new heights. Official work came to a standstill for this match.
B) Two many ex-players are getting busy for comments and shows on numerous channels. Even the forgotten players have become a name of every home.
C) Before 1975 females in the ground were rare to see and now females have outsmarted boys. Girls are displaying their card boards offering their favourite players to Marry her. Earlier in a match the Channel played a big role in enabling Zaheer Khan to contact a female fan. Romantic signals were passed from girl to Zaheer and vice versa as shown by TV camera.
D) The teams with regular coaches could not won the trophy but India without a coach. Does India now need a coach? Are coaches must for a spirited team? In my opinion atleast Indian team does not need any regular coach. Sachin, Dravid, Kumble, Gangulay would be more experienced than any selected coach. But BCCI a super rich organization will spend money on Coach merely to spend the money.
E) On average each player is richer around Rs. One crore from this tournament only.
F) Team spirit in full swing was witnessed.
G) Now ‘not fit player’ and ‘no performance player’ are out of team playing match. Earlier it was not so. I remember Mohinder Amarnath who scored only ONE or perhaps two runs in five innings continuously was still selected to play next matches.
H) The players expected to play a super match failed miserably in this match. Examples: Yuvraj, MS Dhoni, Shahid Afridi.
Congrats! for winning the trophy and let us hope India maintains this standard in future matches.
